We deliver expert canine physiotherapy, rehabilitation, acupuncture, cold laser and hydrotherapy, in addition to our certification programs in canine hydrotherapy and remedial massage through our sister business – the Canine Health and Wellbeing Academy.

Positions Currently Vacant:

 Physiotherapist- Permanent Part time

We’re looking for a service focused person to join our team on a part time basis, providing physiotherapy for our canine patients and education to their owners, to maximise recovery, mobility and ultimately longevity.

About the role:

  • You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing, coordinating and administering rehabilitation programs, whilst working within our multidisciplinary team to ensure the patients receive the highest standard of care possible
  • You should have broad experience working across several areas of human physiotherapy, to bring a high level of knowledge and skill to the position.
  • You’ll be responsible for ensuring your clients and animal patients as well as referring vets are well looked after, with exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • You’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with referring vets and industry partners
  • You will have a wide and varied caseload of orthopaedic, neurological, senior and performance animals
  • You will be required to complete (if not already attained) an Animal Physiotherapy, Canine Rehabilitation, Canine Hydrotherapy or Canine Massage qualification at an approved institute.
  • You will have access to outstanding training and development including weekly team training, monthly multi-disciplinary case conferences and 1:1 mentorship with Michelle Monk

We’ll train you in the Dogs In Motion rehabilitation treatment methods, and our approach to helping our clients and animal patients. You’ll be expected to contribute to your own learning and learn quickly. Once you’re fully up to speed (3-4 months), you’ll be responsible for managing your own schedule and caseload. We have an extremely busy clinic and a commitment to delivering the highest standards possible, so be sure you’re ready to commit to this kind of workload.
